Delete your Tutro account

You can permanently delete your Tutro account and its data at any time, from inside the app or on the web. Deletion happens immediately and can’t be undone.

In the Tutro app (iPhone, iPad or Android)

1. Open Tutro and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Read the confirmation and tap Delete account again to confirm.

On the web

1. Sign in at app.tutro.ai/settings.
2. Scroll to Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete account.

Can’t sign in?

Email privacy@tutro.ai from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account: email address, name, password and sign-in connections (Apple, Google).
• All learner profiles you created, including any separate logins for learners aged 13+.
• Your lessons, uploads, generated slides, narration and videos, quizzes and quiz results.
• Progress, badges, XP, notification settings and voice-tutor conversations.
• Lessons you shared to the Community feed, and your likes and reports.
• Your remaining credits. Unused credits are not refunded.

What we keep

• Billing and tax records (amounts, dates, invoices) for the period Canadian tax law requires, currently 6 years.
• Server logs for up to 90 days, for security and debugging.
• Anonymized, aggregate usage statistics that can’t identify you.
• Copies in encrypted database backups, which are overwritten within 30 days.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels a subscription you bought on tutro.ai right away. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there as well so you aren’t charged again: on iPhone, go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Android, open Google Play › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.
